Insta Worthy Cupcakes!

I have just discovered this amazing cupcake and cake shop called Fale De Keke! If you're ever in Takanini, it's definitely worth making a pit-stop.

Now I have been doing things for myself each week and that varies depending on the week. This week has been indulging myself with cupcakes! The shop is called Fale De Keke, it has a wonderful Pacific Island theme to their shop. They have these gorgeous earrings and other nick knacks you can purchase along with your yummy goodies. So, because I'm extra I tasted most of the cupcake flavours. There are a few I haven't tried yet but I will post it when I do! Here is my review for each flavour and in all honesty I liked all of them haha!

For price points it was $4.00 for an individual cupcake, $20 for half a dozen cupcakes and $40.00 for a dozen cupcakes.

Banana Chocolate Crunch

This cupcake was light, moist and fluffy. It had a delicious banana flavour and it also had a little surprise at the bottom. I think it was chocolate but I ate it pretty fast so I couldn't exactly tell you what it was.

Double Chocolate

This is for the chocolate lovers! This is rich and of course full of chocolate. I would compliment this with a glass of milk or a hot chocolate. Definitely a sweet treat not for the faint hearted.

Red Velvet

Now with red velvet I feel the icing is always a hit or miss. This was on point, the cream cheese icing was light and not too sweet. This cupcake got better with each bite.

Snickers

Okay this icing was out of this world!!!! It was a peanut butter flavour and I'm just thinking how the heck did they do it. The flavour had a good balance between sweet and salty. The actual cupcake was a plain chocolate flavour. This is one you have to try!

Caramilk

I must be so behind with the times, I have never tasted caramilk chocolate before. But I tasted the piece on top of the cupcake and it was so delicious. I've been missing out. It's a better version of white chocolate. The cupcake I think had a light flavour and maybe swapping it with a vanilla cupcake rather than chocolate might bring the flavour out more.

Nutella

Okay you can not go wrong with Nutella, it was so yum this was my favourite one! And the pretzel on top just complimented the flavours beautifully. Get this one!!!!

Vanilla

This is for the plain and simple people out there. When I was eating this I felt like a mum haha! Nothing wrong with a bit of vanilla every now and then. Also look how gorgeous this cupcake looks!
